Parent And Child Classes

These classes are a good introduction to the school experience. Children can begin to explore and demonstrate independence with the helping hand of a parent. Children will engage in many activities such as story time, music, art and open play. Come and join this program where both you and your child can make new friends.

Winter Session: Fridays 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Parent & Child 6-12 Months

This class is an introduction to socialization with peers in a warm and nurturing environment. It is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your infant as they learn and explore. You can guide your child through new experiences and help to build their communication skills. Children will enjoy listening to stories, participating in songs and learning baby sign language. They will be given the opportunity to strengthen their gross motor skills, engage in sensory experiences and experiment with art materials. This small group setting allows parents and children to form strong friendships with each other.

Parent & Child 12-24 Months

This program is designed to encourage self expression in a warm, inviting environment, while enriching the parent/toddler relationship. It offers many activities that promote interaction with peers, creativity and motor development. Children will be encouraged to develop their language skills through the use of stories, songs, rhymes and finger plays. During the art and sensory experiences the focus is on the process rather than the end product so that the children can express themselves freely and appreciate what they can do independently. Come join this fun filled class that lets Toddlers explore and learn.

Parent & Child 24-36 Months

This program is designed to encourage self expression in a warm, inviting environment, while enriching the parent/toddler relationship.
